Guess who has a new hobby……
When I returned home after running an errand (literally running an errand….ran to and from the FedEx store), I received my new hobby in the mail
This could potentially be classified as the best 25 dollars I have ever spent
Isn’t it just so cute to look at?
I’m sure you’re all wondering the same things….
Does she know how to play a ukulele?
Does she have any musical talent?
Will she actually use this?
The answers to those questions are: no, no and hopefully.
The biggest obstacle right now is simply figuring out how to tune it and it’s not going so well. Good thing I’m already going to quit my job because that frees up lots of uku time. (is uku an acceptable abbreviation?)
Yeah, let’s just slide over me quitting my job after a mere 4 hours because I have other EXCITING news, which makes it seem less pathetic:
I got an internship with an amazing nonprofit that has to do with children AND running! If I were to dream up the perfect organization to work with, this would be it. It became official this afternoon and although I can’t go into a lot of detail at this moment, I just wanted to let you all know that I’m not going to become a beach bum playing her ukulele for tips on the side of the road. Well at least not full time.
That’s all for now. I’m trying to break my habit of being a broken record complaining about running injuries, so just know that things are going okay on that front and it’s getting better slowly, but surely!
And just because I can’t stop won’t stop…..
Do you ever use running as a mode of transportation while completing errands?
Other than running or exercise, name some of your hobbies!
Have you ever had to choose between two different opportunities? How did you decide?
